Gore Nursing Center has proudly served Sequoyah and Muskogee counties for over 15 years. Located on Highway 100 in Gore, Oklahoma, our home provides that small town, homely feel that so many seniors desire. We are comfortably located on the outskirts of the city affording our home a quiet scenic view toward the Arkansas River campground area. It's a wonderful place to spend those lazy summer and fall evenings outside. Our terrific staff is highly trained and ready to attend to your loved one's every need.
Facilities
Gore Nursing Center is a fully modern facility that is continuously upgraded to provide your loved one with the best care available. We offer private and semi-private rooms for our residents with private bathroom, sink, double closets and dressers for storage. Our facility provides 24-hour skilled nursing care as well as short and long term daily care.
Our MDS Coordinator continuously monitors the status and condition of residents. In addition, quarterly care plan meetings are conducted with both residents and family members in order to discuss any questions or concerns regarding your loved ones health and well being. We have a wonderful rehab department that takes pride in helping your loved one get back on his or her feet. Our therapy coordinator is available 5 days a week to answer any questions that you may have about your loved one's therapy progress. Additionally we now have a Hospice Room which provides families with comfort and privacy so that they may be with their loved one at that time of need. At Gore Nursing Center, we have a caring staff that will make your loved one feel right at home while assisting with their activities of daily living.
Activities
Our activities group is devoted to keeping our residents active. They plan out a calendar's worth of activities each month in order to offer your loved one the chance to participate in many activities including:

- Movie of the week (with popcorn!)
- Dancing
- Singing
- Birthday parties
- Scenic drives
- Fishing trips
- Restaurant trips
